This SEN school works with children with Autism and Emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). The environment is friendly and supportive and the staff understand that every child is unique. A good relationship between students and staff has always been encouraged and has been maintained throughout the years. Helping the students manage their behaviour as well as helping the older students with their independence skills which helps them to progress outside of a school environment.

We are working with a school that is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant. Your responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant will be:

·Classroom management
·Supporting throughout all the Key Stages
·Working on a 1:1 basis
·To keep accurate records of the content of work
·Working closely with students with ASD and EBD

To be a successful SEN Teaching Assistant you will need to:
·Be an experienced Teaching Assistant that can support all Key Stages
·Hold an up to date DBS
·Have experience working with children with ASD
·Have strong classroom management skills
·Have strong knowledge of all key stages in the curriculum
·Must work well with staff and pupils alike
