We are working with a Good school based in the Sittingbourne area that are looking for a Science Teacher to start in September 2019. This vacancy would suit either an NQT or an experienced teacher.
This school offers a warm, welcoming and friendly environment for both staff, students. The students are well behaved and respectful to staff, visitors and each other. The school is always improving and has recently opened a new building with state of the art facilities to help students thrive in their education.
The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for:
• Classroom management
• Compiling and updating individual learning plans for students
• Participation in structured extra-curricular activity
• Teaching Science to KS3 & KS4 Trio of Sciences and Biology KS5
• Marking and planning for all lessons
• Lead a strong and supportive team
• Maintaining and improving the academic results of their students
• To keep accurate records of the content of work

The successful Science Teacher will also:
• Hold relevant teaching qualifications
• Have previous experience teaching the UK curriculum
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Have strong knowledge of the KS3, KS4 and KS5 curriculum
• Must work well with staff and pupils alike
• Have the ability to direct and supervise the work of multiple TA’s
