SEN Teaching Assistant KS1 to KS3

Salary: £13.69 to £15.69 per hour

Rikama Education Ltd. is currently seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Bexley, supporting pupils from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 3. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs and challenging behaviour.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support across multiple key stages

Help students access and engage with the curriculum, often at primary level within secondary age groups

Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development

Collaborate closely with teaching staff and external professionals to promote inclusive learning

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working in a SEN environment, particularly with SEMH needs, is highly desirable

Calm, patient, and resilient with a proactive attitude

A strong desire to help young people reach their full potential
