Rikama Education are currently looking for a SENCO to work in a Special Needs school specialising in ASD within the Gravesend area, your day to day duties will include:
§ Meeting with parents of children with SEN
§ Making sure children with special needs have their identification supported
§ Arranging provision for children with SEN
§ Keeping an updated record of all pupils with SEN and making sure it’s up to date
§ Co-ordinating supply correctly for children
§ Liaising with other external agencies and providers
To be considered for this exciting SENCO role, you will need the following experience:
• QTS as a head teacher or acting head
• Leading and managing staff confidently
• Developing staff and resources within the school
• Initiating and developing approaches in the classroom
• Strategic planning for responsibilities and duties
