SEN Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education are currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in the Medway area, your day to day duties will include:

Working on a 1to1 basis with children with mental health conditions and challenging behaviour
Helping children, with learning difficulties on their education and social development 1:1 and group basis
Providing support for students inside and outside the classroom the enable them to participate in activities
Adapting your approach depending on the students needs and behaviour

To be considered for this exciting SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need the following experience:
* Working with young people, either in an academic setting or voluntary worker
* Experience working with ASD or Behaviour
* Hold an up to date DBS for both children and adult and valid passport or be eligible to work in the UK

Our client is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team who are graded good in all areas recently by OFSTED
serving students aged 12 to 17 with Mental health conditions, Behavioural issues and range of additional needs. .
