Hours: Full-Time (8.30am to 3.30pm 6.5 hours per day, Term-Time Only, 38 weeks per year)
Are you passionate about helping young children thrive in their learning? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Bexley. If you’re eager to make a positive impact in the classroom and support students in their educational journey, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support in literacy, numeracy, and other core subjects.
• Encourage positive social interactions and help build student confidence.
• Support children with special educational needs and diverse learning styles.
• Help prepare classroom resources and maintain classroom organisation.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• A child-only DBS on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to learning.
• Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable but not essential.
