Rikama Education are working with a SEN School who are looking for someone to work full-time in the classroom and provide 1:1 support outside the classroom as necessary.
Experience of working with children with ASD and/or SEMH difficulties is desirable, enthusiasm, flexibility and resilience are essential.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and confident team player who is able to demonstrate previous success in working with children. You should also be able to evidence using your own initiative to support successful learning. You will demonstrate the ability to support a positive approach to behaviour management and a calm and friendly manner.
The School
This School is a small independent specialist school for students with a wide range of additional needs, including social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH), autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and moderate learning difficulties.
Skills Required
• Experience of working with children across KS3 and KS4
• Experience of working with young people with SEMH, ASD and learning difficulties
• Enhanced DBS

Pay: £11.50 per hour (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
If you were successful, you would work 20 weeks via Rikama Education. Following this initial period, yourself and the school will be able to discuss the opportunity to become a permanent employee at the school.
