SEN Teaching Assistant – Maidstone

Rikama Education Ltd. is currently working with a new SEN School in Maidstone and is looking for a number of SEN Teaching Assistants to support Primary and Secondary learners with ASD, these positions are to start as soon as possible, with the opportunity of a permanent role for the right candidate after the initial period.

The school offers excellent new facilities on an extremely large site and educates and cares for students (mixed boys and girls) aged from 4 to 17 with Complex Needs and who are on the Autistic spectrum. All roles could require you to complete personal care

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting students ages 4 – 17 years old with a range of individual needs including Learning Difficulties, ASD, and challenging behaviour
• Support on either a 1 to 1 or small-group basis
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
