Rikama Education Ltd are currently working with a school in the Cranbrook area that require an SEN Teaching Assistant that has a background of working with students with additional needs.
Supporting the SENCO and the AEN department in all aspects of the department’s work, including the testing for, and administration of, exam access arrangements.

To support the SENCO to:
• promote the progress and achievement of AEN students throughout the school.
• enable students to develop their confidence, interpersonal skills, self-esteem and independence.
• promote a positive view of students with AEN across the academy
• to support the teaching staff in enabling students to achieve high quality learning outcomes.
• assist in implementing relevant aspects of the SEND CoP 2015
• apply the Academy’s Inclusion and Equal Opportunities policy

The position will end when the member of staff returns from maternity or after 1 year which ever is closer.
