Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in their lives? A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant to join their team from May 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEMH needs

Help students engage in lessons and manage their emotions

Assist in behaviour management and classroom support

Support the development of students’ social and emotional skills

Work closely with SENCO and pastoral staff to track progress and tailor support

Contribute to the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Promote a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment

Offer pastoral care and mentoring to students needing additional guidance

Communicate effectively with parents and carers for consistent support
