Rikama Education are working with a SEN school in Ashford, who are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to as soon as possible.

The school caters for the educational and emotional needs of primary and secondary aged students who have a diagnosis of Autism and/or other developmental and psychological needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities include:

• To provide a safe, supportive and nurturing classroom environment.
• To liaise with the lead teacher in preparing the classroom.
• Support children with special educational needs and diverse learning styles.
• Track and monitor student progression.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.

It is essential that you are self-motivated, proactive and have a passion for supporting those with additional needs.
The role is demanding and challenging but very rewarding.
