The number of children registering for home education rose by 75% in the first 8 months of this academic year in the UK.
The main reason, according to the DfE, is ‘Covid Anxiety.’ A number of young people are feeling worried, sad, anger and frustration towards Covid in the classroom, causing them to stay at home.
