Rikama Education Ltd are currently working with a school located near Polegate in East Sussex who are looking to recruit driven and professional Behaviour Mentors

Ideally you will have experience of working as either a Behaviour Mentor, or as a Teaching Assistant, supporting those with SEMH and Behavioural Issues. This is a school for secondary aged children, and experience of working with young adults, either in a school or within in a wider community setting, would be ideal.

Behaviour Mentors support students individually or in small groups, guiding them to better understand their actions and develop healthier ways to manage their behaviour. They encourage students to re-engage with their education and form positive, respectful relationships with others. Through promoting self-awareness, emotional control, and positive coping strategies, Behaviour Mentors make a meaningful difference in students’ mental health and social growth.

The right candidate MUST have:
– Experience of working with children or young adults
– Knowledge of working with a range of behavioural needs, including SEMH
– The right to work in the UK
