Job Description

Rikama Education are working with a primary school on the outskirts of Canterbury, who are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start immediately.

The school are looking for a TA to work 3 days a week initially, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and your role as a 1:1 will be to:
•Support a pupil in Year 4 who has ASD and ADHD
•Differentiate the work set by the class teacher
•Manage any challenging behaviours following the schools policy.

It is essential that you have:
•Previous experience working with children with additional needs, whether that is in a classroom or similar setting
•Excellent behaviour management skills
•A DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run.

The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team.
