Rikama Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious SEN school in Sidcup to recruit a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant.

This specialist SEND school supports 135 students aged 1119 with moderate learning difficulties, some of whom have additional needs. The school is proud of its inclusive ethos, combining traditional values with innovative teaching approaches to help every learner achieve their potential. Staff work closely with parents and carers to celebrate achievements and inspire students to exceed expectations.

The Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff
• Support students in the classroom alongside the Teacher and Senior TA
• Help students access learning and engage in teacher-led activities
• Provide general classroom and behaviour support
• Respond consistently to individual student needs
• Ensure student safety and wellbeing at all times
