Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in Woolwich. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and supporting students in their learning journey.
Duties:
– Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help
– Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal growth
– Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Support students with special educational needs, including those with autism
– Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
Experience Required:
– Experience working with children in an educational setting
– Knowledge of special education practices and principles
– Ability to educate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students’ needs
