TikTok teacher abuse videos; government stepping in.
The UK government is currently working with TikTok to tackle videos posted on the platform by students insulting or abusing their teachers; some with racist or homophobic tendencies.

This has come to light from headteachers who have voiced their concerns after videos emerged featuring pictures of staff members on their websites.
The DfE is engaging with TikTok with taking the videos down. Social Media companies need to be made aware of such abuse, they should not have to be told by headteachers that there is a problem.
