Universities Online Learning

New guidance from the government has told universities that they should switch to full-time online learning only if there is a local coronavirus outbreak. House parties are also banned due to the ‘Rule of Six,’ only having 6 people in one group at a time.

Universities have the control

The Department for Education (DfE) have stated that the government’s current position is that universities should offer a ‘blend of face-to-face and online learning,’ unless a local breakout occurs. The DfE does not state what the ratio to online and face-to-face should be, therefore the ratio is to be determined by each individual education provider.

What do you think on this? Do you know of other establishments doing different things?
